This self-paced course provides:

• Training for classroom educators and librarians who need to become familiar with the online resources needed to provide the online safety/digital citizenship student training required by e-Rate.
• An additional module for classroom educators, librarians, and computer lab teachers wishing to become certified in online safety and digital citizenship through the Common Sense Media website.

This course is aligned with the following outcomes:

• LDOE 2016 Digital Literacy Guidelines - Acceptable Use, Copyright, Plagiarism, and Online Safety
• ISTE 2016 Student Standards - Standard 2: Digital Citizen
• ISTE 2008 Teacher Standards - Standard 4: Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility
